ECUFilePortal does not provide generic tuning files or public map packs. An original ECU read is required before a custom calibration can be prepared.

Stage 2 is intended for vehicles with suitable supporting hardware modifications, such as upgraded intake, exhaust, or intercooling components.
The correct calibration depends on the actual vehicle setup and ECU application.

You will be asked to provide the available:
- Vehicle type
- Manufacturer
- Model
- Generation

- ECU
If a specific model, engine, or ECU is not listed, use the available Unknown option rather than selecting incorrect information.
Support varies by application, so the live request catalog is the most accurate way to check availability.
ECU Reading & Flashing Tools
You will need suitable equipment to read the original ECU file from the vehicle and write the completed file back to the ECU.
ECUFilePortal does not require a specific tool brand. If your equipment produces a suitable ECU BIN file, that file can be submitted through the portal.
Common professional tools may include systems such as KESS3, FLEX, and AutoTuner, depending on the vehicle and ECU.
ECUFilePortal does not sell, operate, or certify flashing equipment. Always use the correct tool and procedure for your application.
How to Order a Custom ECU File
The process is simple:

Start a new ECU request, enter the available vehicle and ECU information, and upload the original BIN file.
2. Select Your Tuning Options
Choose the available calibration or ECU solutions required for your vehicle.
3. Review the Cost
Each option displays its cost in TuningPoints.

4. Track Your Request
Follow the progress of your file through your ECUFilePortal account:
Pending → In Progress → Ready
5. Download the Completed File
When the request is marked Ready, the processed ECU file becomes available from the same request in File History.

ECUFilePortal is not an instant or automatic map-generation service.
Each request is based on the original ECU file you provide. The completed file is prepared and returned through your account once processing is finished.
Your original file, completed files, and later revisions remain associated with the same request, making it easy to keep each job organized.
File Revisions
If an updated version of your ECU file is required, later processed files can be added to the same request.
Previous versions remain available in File History, so the complete job stays together instead of replacing earlier files.
