- What is ECUFilePortal?
- ECUFilePortal is an online service for professional ECU tuning file requests. Upload your original ECU file, choose the required tuning options and manage the request through your account until the completed file is ready.
- How do I order an ECU tuning file?
- Create an account, start a new file request, enter the vehicle and ECU information, upload the original ECU file and select the required tuning options. Review the cost and submit the request.
- What file should I upload?
- Upload the original ECU BIN file read from the vehicle. The calibration is prepared from the file you provide.
- How do TuningPoints work?
- TuningPoints are used to pay for ECU tuning requests. 1 TuningPoint = €10, and the total number of points required is shown before you submit the file.
- How do I buy TuningPoints?
- Sign in, open the Shop, and purchase TuningPoints with Stripe Checkout. Points are added to your account after successful payment and can be used for ECU tuning requests.
- Do unused TuningPoints stay in my account?
- Yes. Unused TuningPoints remain on your ECUFilePortal balance and can be used for future requests.
- How long does an ECU tuning file take?
- Most requests are completed in around 30 minutes. Processing time can vary depending on the file, requested services and current workload.
- How can I track my request?
- Your File History shows the current status of each request: Pending, In Progress or Ready. Once the status is Ready, the completed file can be downloaded from the same request.
- Are the tuning files automatically generated?
- No. ECUFilePortal is not an automatic file generator. Each submitted request is processed before the completed file is returned to your account.
- What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2?
- Stage 1 is generally intended for vehicles with standard or near-standard hardware. Stage 2 is intended for vehicles with suitable supporting modifications. Availability depends on the specific vehicle and ECU.
- Can I request DPF, EGR or AdBlue solutions?
- Yes, these ECU file solutions are available for supported applications. The options available for your request depend on the vehicle, ECU and original file.
- Do you offer Honda ECU tuning?
- Yes. Honda ECU calibration is one of our specialist areas, including Stage 1 and selected ECU solutions for supported Keihin and Matsushita applications.
- What if my vehicle or ECU is not listed?
- Enter the available information as accurately as possible. If a specific model, engine or ECU is not listed, use the available Unknown option rather than selecting incorrect data.
- Do I need a specific ECU flashing tool?
- No specific flashing-tool brand is required by ECUFilePortal. You need suitable equipment to read the original ECU file and write the completed file back to the vehicle.
- Can I request a file revision?
- Yes. Updated files can remain connected to the original request so the complete job and its revisions stay organized in one place.
- How can I contact support?

- Are TuningPoints refundable?
- TuningPoint purchases are final and non-refundable under the Terms of Service, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
