How Our ECU File Service Works

ECUFilePortal gives you a simple online workflow for ordering and managing ECU tuning files.

You read the original ECU file from the vehicle using your own equipment. ECUFilePortal is then used to submit the file, choose the required tuning options, make payment, track the request, and download the completed file.

1. Create Your Account

Register with your email address or Google account and sign in to ECUFilePortal.

An account is required to:

  • Upload ECU files
  • Purchase TuningPoints
  • Track active requests
  • Access File History
  • Use request chat
  • Download completed files

2. Upload the Original ECU File

Start a new ECU file request and provide the available vehicle information.

Select the vehicle type and brand, then complete the model, engine, and ECU details where available.

If a specific detail is not listed, use the available Unknown option rather than selecting incorrect information.

Upload the original ECU BIN file read from the vehicle.

3. Choose Your Tuning Options

Select the tuning services available for your vehicle and ECU.

Each option displays its cost in TuningPoints, allowing you to review the total before submitting the request.

1 TuningPoint = €10

Your account only needs a sufficient TuningPoints balance when you submit the file.

4. Track and Download Your File

After submission, you can follow the request from your File History.

The available statuses are:

Pending → In Progress → Ready

Most requests are completed in around 30 minutes, although processing time may vary depending on the file, selected services, and current workload.

When the request is marked Ready, the completed ECU file can be downloaded from the same request.

What You Need

ECUFilePortal provides the tuning file request and delivery service.

You will still need suitable equipment to:

  • Read the original ECU file from the vehicle
  • Save the original BIN file
  • Write the completed file back to the ECU

The complete ordering process is online, so there is no need to visit a workshop to use ECUFilePortal.
